Arnold John Price

A. J. was born in New York State in 1961 where he lived the first part of his life. He is the youngest of four siblings. As the youngest he was left to entertain himself. He played outside alone and with neighborhood friends and watched old black and white horror movies and science fiction shows. It was during this time in front of the TV when he adopted his great sense of humor, good visualization, broad creativity and learned how cultivate his natural sense of drama and theatre.

A Natural Photographic Gift

It was discovered early in life that A.J. was harboring a natural photographic gift. This gift was handed down to him from his dad, who also was a good photographer. Although A.J. was taking pictures as early as he can remember in Yonkers in the Hudson Valley, his talent lay dormant for years after a family tragedy. After a move to Florida his talent reemerged in photographing beautiful plants, flowers and sunsets. He blossomed into an amazing photographer with a keen eye for design and harmony.

While watching his friend, he discovered the beauty and magnificance of equestrian photography. He traveled to local horse shows and breed inspections and shot rolls and rolls of film. He was hooked and his specialty was established - showcasing his artistic skills in Equestrian and Nature photography!
